Do You.

I don’t live for any man’s delight
I’m not trying to be wrong or right
I don’t need your ladder
I’m not trying to reach your heights.

My quest in life is to be the best of me
To live a life worthy of the read
To inspire whoever has come to see me
Perform with the gifts wrapped up in me.

So maybe they too shall catch the fire
Then go ahead and pass the torch.
How beautiful and diverse our world would be
If every man decides to be who they were designed.

That thunderous silence

Those quiet screams
Those waterless tears
Those still tantrums.
Inaudible sounds
It is a sad music.

Look at me
I borrowed this smile
From the school of good behaviour
I will be a good boy
I will hide it all
You taught me well.
