Feelings I’ve not felt in ages
Reminders of all my failings and faults
Gosh I needed a facelift
Then the lifter of my head came through in the night watches
He imbued me with the courage of troop
He put springs under my feet
My youth renewed like that of eagle
Oh if you see me with a straight back today
And broad shoulders, it isn’t pride
Blame it all on the lifter of my head
